not everything I do is round

Ok, the mallet is round. I just needed something to tap stuff into place and whatnot (made of what I suspect is maple due to the abundance of the specie in the areaand the fact that I salvaged the wood from the curb.)

This on the other hand is not round , but it is the highlight of my woodworking career (what little of it I've had in comparison to some of the more seasoned guys around here) I designed it myself, started it the middle of my junior year, and finished it with the help of a good friend of mine half way through my Senior year.
