Posted a 16 picture tutorial on the RM board at WWF today about this one because some members were asking about the process I had used for previous ones .

I usually finish my bowls with lacquer but this time I decided to go with Wipe On Polyurethane because the weather was so hot and dry that I figured it would shorten down the drying time between coats . I only had a can of satin from a few years back and was surprised that it actually did show some gloss. I will get a small can of gloss and sand this one down in a few days and apply gloss on top of it .

Thanks for the comments.

I kind of liked the look of the satin poly but my customers seem to like gloss better so I got a can of clear gloss and brightened it up a little.

I sure do like the looks of that wipe on poly finish and now that I am getting my craft sale inventory to where I want it I might finish some more with poly which takes SO much longer to do than with lacquer .

Beautiful Bowl!

Just my opinion... I like the Satin :). But, customers dictate.

Nice job - I admire your work. Thank you for your continued posts.
