I believe this is a Firewhatfire blank, but I COULD be wrong. I started this one a couple of months ago, and realized when I was mostly done that I was still too burned out from life happening to finish it. It had some small bubbles that wouldn't fill in well, and I was getting really bent out of shape. I put it up and left it set instead of taking a hammer to it and letting some rage out. Today I had a different pen fail on the lathe and decided I'd just finish this one off instead of hanging it up for the day. I expected a bad fit at the nib, but was pleasantly surprised to find it right where I wanted it. I really like this blank, and the blue at the nib really adds a touch of character. It tool 4 or 5 layers of medium CA and a lot of 320 grit to get the surface where I wanted it, but it got there, so no complaints.
