New Tools.......

My father Dave S got me these custom made tools from Thomson tools as a gift:biggrin:. Don't know what I did to deserve them but I thank you very much Dad! 3/8 spindle gouge, 3/8 bowl gouge and a 5/8 bowl gouge.

i had doug send one (3/8" spindle gouge with handle and engraved name)to my grandson for his birthday this past december. i have yet to see a picture of it but look forward to seeing it in march when i do a craft show at his former high school. he is a good boy but i'll mention that you must be pretty good to get three. they are great tools. enjoy

That's quite a score, John. I've got a few of Doug's tools, and I'll be replacing my others with Thompson tools as the need arises. You're one up on my with the custom handles... Let me know what you think about them after you've taken them for a few test drives.
