Well, I was perusing the internet and found a guy who makes necklace pendants out of quarters and this was the way he cut out the Texas quarter, so I thought I might take the challenge since my quarters are so thin. Please choose which photo you think looks the best! Ask comments, critiques, criticisms welcome

That is impressive! A much more technically difficult design. I like the original better, though. It looks stronger, more visually striking, with a solid Texas shape.
