I decided to try the Concava from PSI. For a low-cost twist pen I like it. The finish on this is gunmetal. The wood is the root of a rotted cherry tree. Took a lot to clean it up, but I kind of like it. Cast the wood in dark blue PR with a pinch of silver Perlex. Only thing I'm worried about is the wife walking off with it. :eek:

I'm not sure I like the look of the upper barrel, but that's just me. In fact it may grow on me. But your blank is just plain beautiful, and looks perfect for that kit.
