I got this in the box from low 48.. Don't know what it is but it looked cool.. It was a little short so I used bone to fill it in..

the first four look like various forms of Maple to my poorly trained eyes, with the first two being burls, the third being spalted, and the fourth possibly slightly curly.

If you'll crop the extraneous stuff from the top and bottom of the pics, you can make them even larger, then we can see them in more detail. From what I can see, they look pretty darn good!

The second one looks like cross-cut cherry with sapwood and mineral inclusions -- way cool.
The third one is also a real interesting looking blank. Nice pens.
