During the AAW Symposium at the Penturners Get-together, Peter Steenwyk from Canada gave us a short presentation of the way he finishes his pens and he also showed us some new laminates. Later that week I hooked up with Pete and bought a bunch of these new laminates from him. They are similar to the Dymondwood, but are not resin impregnated. I finally got to them and wanted to show you two before I break down my shop for the big move east.
Here they are:
This is a Chrome Baron and the colors are light blue/red/light purple/dark purple/greenish olive:
Then a Gent Jr and here the colors are very vibrant, bright green/red/purple/ three grades of yellow and then chartreuse:
The come in angle cut and straight.
