New challenge,, pen with out the center ring

I just finished this pen today and I think it turned out pretty good. I had a few problems but I was able to fix that. I'm not sure what that wood is , but it was some I couldn't scroll but hey,,, I got a pen out of it. The ring is a piece of scrap left over from the Carabean Cove pen I made... One picture was taken with a flash and the other with out a flash...Enjoy Fay

I never use the center rings on slim lines any more. This is a great looking pen. The center ring really sets it off. You are doing some nice work, keep it up!
