New bandsaw and shop pics

Got my new 3hp 19 inch bandsaw the other day. I had to break it in before I posted any pics. It cuts great through 12 logs with no problem. Other pics are some mesquite I am working on.

Question, why did you opt to put the DC line in front of your lathe?

I like the shot of the dust collector bag nearly filled up with sawdust. Question about your DC system, does it not collect the shavings from the lathe? I see that it connects in some way to the front of your bench with the lathe on it, but can't tell whether it is connected to a dust hood. Either way, that's a really cool set-up.

It not currently connected to the lathe right now since I just rearranged things for the new bandsaw. When it was hooked up it did not do that well of a job. I just kinda pushed the shavings to the tubes. All I have was two 4 inch tube right next to the piece I was workin on. So I guess you can say it is a work in progress.
