After seeing Louis Bryant's post about Osage orange blanks, I remembered that I had a bunch on my top shelf. I cut some up and started turning. It took me 10 half blanks and 3 days to finish a cross cut El Grande. My blanks kept exploding on me. Then, during assembly, I cracked the cap.
So I put that down and assembled a slimline that I turned while at a show. How do you screw that up? I have no idea, but I did.
Now I have beautiful Osage carry pen and an Olivewood slimline, that will never see daylight.
Maybe I need to take a break. Probably not.
