Need some help

Will putting CA glue on an Alabaster stone blank after turning keep the ends from chipping when the pen kit is inserted? I have done a few blanks which came out great except when I press the kit into the blank it chips just slightly around the opening . I don't use a lot of force .Any help would be great and thanks in advance.

I doubt it. I would ream the tube out slightly so when you insert the pen parts, you won't be expanding the tube and causing the alabaster to crack. You would, however, need to glue the pen parts in.

+3 and I wasn't sure about adding this but just wanted to make sure everything is clear. You need to slightly sand the pen parts so they just slide in then glue them. That way there is no pressure causing anything to expand when putting the pen together. I like putting the glue inside the tube and not on the pen part. That way when you slide the part in the glue doesn't build up on the outside and cause another problem.
