Need Help with PSI 2 Way Tech Pen

Has anyone made this kit? I'm having some problems making the kit work, following PSI's instruction sheet.

The upper & lower blanks just will not push together.

I obviously am doing something wrong, but cannot figure out what.

Called PSI and their 'Techs' are not available today.

Do you have any glue remnants inside the tubes? If you do this may make the fit tight. Use a craft knife to scrape the inside of the tubes.
Otherwise, more info will lead to more advise from us.
Not push together, do you mean the components don't actually fit?

I've made that kit in the past. Didn't have any issues so I'll +1the check for glue suggestion.

I finally figured it out. Apparently I got 2 "bad" kits, for want of a better word. No glue inside, the issue was the transmission sleeve had bee made with a ridge inside to enable it to cause the top tube to bottom out. This disallowed the 2 sections to be pushed together. I had to drill out the ridge and also press the sleeve further into the top section. Works fine now.

I finally was able to confirm this with PSI. A pretty good kit after the fixes made. I imagine this had already been corrected. I have had these kits around for over a year or more.
