I made this pen to show the wood type to a customer for a Gold Emperor pen. This is some wonderful wood.
He ended up choosing this wood type for a gold emperor and stabilized Birdseye Maple for a Black Titanium Emperor just because he couldn't make up his mind on the kit choice. Not a bad morning! HMMM...So much for my Emperor.

That is a very nice myrtlewood on a wonderfully done pen. It is one of my favorite wood actually.

One small trivia you can tell customers is that myrtlewood is the ONLY WOOD used in the US coin currency. []
