My take on Alkan Carters idea

I watched a video on Youtube of Alan Carter demoing a suspended vessel. So I tried my hand at it. What do you all think?

Vessel is Buckeye burl, cap and finial are maple and mahogany respectively. The base is redwood burl.

Thanks folks. I had a lot of fun doing this one and will be doing more variations as I go on. I saw another video of his I am going to try next. Will be posting here when finished.
