This is another piece for the Memorial Day event. It is a Ruth Niles SS stopper topped with something of my own making. It is a red, white and blue mix (not much white showing) on which I placed a ride pin from last years event and set it in clear.

Turned out pretty good. The pin is a little off center, but for my second bottle stopper, my first acrylic one and my first bottle stopper casting ...I am happy.

Thanks for looking.

This one is also very nice. I like how the red slides into the blue. I don't think your stopper is a Ruth Niles. It looks like some that were sold in a group buy a few months ago also SS. I have some of hers and they are shorter. Is she now making a longer one?

Looks good.

My only suggestion would be to pour a slightly shorter color section (it only needs to cover the stopper's threads) and then pour a thin clear section prior to embedding your item. That way, you get a floating effect that's pretty cool. I do all of mine like that and they are well received.

(If anyone is selling stoppers in my area, please ignore this post. :monkey:)
