My second cane

A friend of mine asked me to make her dad a cane. He is a taller man, so the cane is an overall length of just over 38". The wood was some pieces my friend's parents bought for me at Rockler in a bin they have there, so I am not sure the type of wood. The cane kit I bought was from CSUSA. I used Forby's high gloss polish as the finish for it. It really gave the wood a nice shine. I worked on this one for about 2-3 weeks.

Nicely done. I've not turned a cane, but if I do, I hope it turns out as nice as this one.
