Just finished these this week. Got paid and used the money to buy a new lathe!

I bought the Jet 1015VS and I love it so far.

I've had the 1221VS for a couple of years and love it. I had the big Harbor Freight woodlathe for many years before that, and was happy with it. Until I got the Jet. The Jet is so much more smooth and accurate. And I really like the variable speed and reversing features. I have the bed extension, but haven't used it yet. Pens aren't that long, but I've turned some high power rocket nose cones on it, and wanted the extension for longer cones. But then some medical issues got in the way, and I had to put rocket building on the back burner. But still, I have the extension if I ever need it.

Nice job! Interesting that they ordered a bunch of different pens instead of just one or two styles. That makes for more interesting turning. Congratulations.

They look beautiful ....

On a side note, I recognize the glass top cases as coming from Gems on Display ... where'd you get the insert trays? I just ordered 6 of those display cases myself, along with the carry case.
