I got some shark vertebrae last week and some of the vertebrae seemed too small for casting. I was doing some other castings and had some left over resin that I did not want to waste so I mixed some mica powder, put the small vertebrae in a Sierra "tube in" mold without the tubes and poured my left over resin in with the vertebrae. I really wasn't expecting much and was just experimenting. I drilled the blank and stuck an extra Sierra tube in it and turned it to see what would happen. To my surprise, I got a very interesting result and went looking for a complementary kit. Here is the result.
