Hi all,
New turner and new to the IAP site. Below are a couple of pens I created in the last couple of days from blanks I made at a WoodCraft "Heirloom Pen" class.
The first is a Amboyna, Blackwood and Maple Burl on a Titanium Gold Cigar Pen. Not bad at all considering it is only my 6th or 7th pen and only the 10th or 11th thing I have ever turned.
The second one was a good learning experience of what not to do. It is a Holly with colored veneer "Christmas Pen" that got stained up pretty badly when I sanded from the bushings onto the holly. Oh well.
Next ones will be better. And I still have two blanks left from the Heirloom class.
