Just finished my first Pentel pencil. Made my own bushings for it also. The blank is homemade too - my wife calls it "Tomato" - look close and you can see gold flecks. It looks nicer in person, if I do say so myself. The end near the nib is a tad proud of where ii should be, so I'll correct that in the future. The other end needs to be rounded too.

The bushings are a prototype I made out of Delrin, which turned out to be slippery. The next version will be made out of a more appropriate material, but I'll use the delrins if I need to soak a wood blank in CA.

Anyway, comments are welcome.

looks great from the north also..never have tried that..maybe I will now..hard to lose that color in the shop
