First, I'd like to thank those on this forum for your advice. It was put into practice this evening. Second, I WILL NEVER TURN BETWEEN CENTERS AGAIN UNLESS I HAVE BUSHINGS FROM JOHNNYCNC. The bushings that I have (now had) were not turned true. They were just a hair off. Johnny, expect an order from me next week.

This is the El Grande Fountain Pen from WC. The blank is "purple haze" from WC. It was wet sanded to 12,000 MM. It was then polished with Maguires Plastic Motorcycle Polish. The first picture didnt turn out all that great, but it gives you the idea.

Any comments, suggestions, and cretiques will be welcome.
Again, I want to thank those on this forum board for shairing their knowledge. If it weren't for you, I would have never tried the motorcycle polish.
Jon

ps. I made this pen for me. However, SWMBO just took it from me. I guess I will have to make me another this weekend

Thanks all. I had fun with this pen. I have been looking at web sites today, trying to figure out what blank I want to put on my pen. Decisions Decisions
