Not an expensive kit - but nice wood.

Thanks,

Really nice looking pen with beautiful wood John. I've never done the comfort pens. Is the rubber piece on a brass tube also and if so could you substitute a contrasting piece of wood for the rubber piece?

Very nice job. Koa is a favorite of mine, especially when it has some movement like yours. If you put it on the sale rack, it shouldn't last long. Anthony

Thanks everyone.
The kit is a PSI 7mm 24KT comfort pen kit from Ryan at woodturningz.
The curly koa is from Bill at AS.
The kit uses the regular 2" tubes just like the slimline, just different bushings. The real heart stopper comes when you have to part off the 1" of wood on the front of the first tube to make room for the rubber 'comfort' grip. And yes, it would actually be easier to leave the wood and skip the comfort grip.
However, this is what the customer requested, and yes, he was happy with what he got :)

Thanks,
JohnPayton
