I love claro walnut burl, and this is the best I've found so far:

the photos are why I've never posted before:redface: Sorry 'bout that. I have a good camera, just need to learn how to use it:rolleyes: This is the all-powerful iPhone camera.

Also, finally a cigar prototype worked out!

Guess I should have polished it up a bit:redface:

Any comments appreciated. Any photo composition tip requests will be honored:tongue:

i really like that. what kit did you use? and what did you use to do the ash end?

Thanks - I wanted el cheapo for the prototype, so it is an apprentice Jr. Gent. Now that it's done, it actually works quite well. The cap closes nice and snug and won't come loose no matter how much I twirl it around like a drumstick:biggrin: I ordered more kits to use as gift cigars. If I ever take an order, I'll beef it up with something a little bigger.

Ash is buckeye burl.

The shine on the Cigar pen is awesome. Since there is no clip one would probably carry it in a cigar box, wouldn't you think? I know someone who would pay a hefty price to have one. I am not going to attempt it though.
