That's some nice looking walnut! Good to see that red hue in it.

Normally I hate burn rings, hate them on pens, stoppers, you name it. These, however, look pretty darn good. I think it's their even spacing and that they didnt discolor the wood around them.

Very nicely done.. I don't do burn rings because I can't do them as well as yours.

I would like to see a picture of the bottom... I always like to check the bottom of pieces to see how they are finished.

I use a parting tool to start a groove before burning, makes for a nice clean burn line.

I'll snap a pic of the bottom here in a bit.

Nice bowl.The burn rings really make the bowl,spacing of the rings looks perfect.Great work on the whole thing.That piece of Walnut has really nice grain.
