My 1st Majestic

This was posted elsewhere in the site, and it was suggested that I show
here.

This is my 1st attempt at a Majestic and love how it turned out.
I have only been turning a couple of months and love my new hobby
I have already learned so much from you wonderful folks and look forward to learning much more. I have my 1st craft show this Saturday!!


This is my Majestic, I used Rosewood that I got out of a bin at Rockler
turned, sanded to 600. Then used EEE Ultra shine and Woodturners Finish as suggested in "The Pen Turners Workbook" by Barry Gross.

That is one I still have to try. It looks pretty good. Looks like the flash or light washed out the pen in the first image. The finish looks nice in the 2nd photo and nice grain on the wood too.

Great looking 1st Maj, Keep at it. I'm leaving off the clips on future Maj, just selling them as desk pens, They are too heavy for pockets.
