Multi Wood RM Bowl

This one is a full 8.5" diameter.

It has a mixture of redheart , padauk , yellow heart , wenge , purpleheart ,birch , maple , mahogany , and sepele. .



Finished with shellac sanding sealer followed by four coats of gloss lacquer . After some curing time I will use paste wax and steel wool on it to make it feel awesome to the touch as well as knock the gloss back just a wee bit .

A member of my own site that does fantastic open and closed segmentation work was so kind as to send me a box of his scraps that he said would normally get burned .
It was real eye candy to me when I opened that box when it arrived yesterday .
So I will be able to do more along this line using it as accent wood along with my bigger pieces of local wood . .
