Well this isn't a pen necessarily, but I like it. It is Boise de Rose and it was a freebie blank that I got from JimBobTucson. I really like this wood. It smelled great and turned very well.
I will undoubtedly get more. Comments welcome. Thanks

I've got to agree. I had the stuff all over my hands. Seems to be a very oily wood. I sanded to 400 grit and then put quite a few coats of sanding sealer on it. I then did 2 med CA and 2 thick CA. I was happy that it came out ok. I thought for sure the CA would cloud up.

I have really got to get this photography thing figured out. I've got a ton of lights shining on the pen, but it seems so dark. Also, it doesn't seem clear. I need to research the Pen Photography section.
