I made this using black dyed Silimar 41 and wooden blanks using a Quaker Oats container as a mold. Approximately 6" tall.

I like that! The wood looks great in the black resin.

You've got me beat, I still haven't gotten the courage up to try to hollow a resin vase, hybrid or not. I envision a quick catch followed by the familiar sound of thousands of pieces of resin flying around my shop. What tool did you use for the hollowing? I've been thinking that a round carbide might do well.

I use round carbide tools- ewt hollowers numbers 1 and 3. They are pricey but I really like them.
