Ok while sitting in our living room last night me and my lovely bride heard a familiar noise but had not heard it in a while. IT WAS RAINING!!!!!! Yes a 1/2" of rain.....Boy did it cool us off in East Texas. So today had a chance to do a little turning. My favorite is Kudu with 5 coats of CA polished to 12000. My first home brewed Worthless Wood with mesquite burl from shadetree. The pine cone was interesting but fun and thanks for all you guys that do tutorials for guys like me, in the Library. Copperhead came from a friend who killed 18 copperhead snakes in 13 days around his house and barn. Thanks everyone for your help and thanks to all who run this sight. It is so addictive.

Very nice looking pens. Pine cone is pretty sharp. In Waco, they got 2.13 inches in 2 hours, as much as they had in the last 120 days!
