Thanks to Roy for the moose antler - here are the pre-engraved pictures. This pen will be sent to Ken Nelson on Monday and I Will post engraved pictures in a few days. Decided to upgrade the pen when I saw the quality of the antler.

40 thin coats of plexiglas to protect, but not to completely cover the texture.

Do you REALLY have any where NEAR that much Plexi on that poor thing???

It LOOKS really nice, but MAN, get a life!!!

Ken will break a tool trying to penetrate!!

Thanks for the nice comments! Brian is right - rhodium Jr. Gent with postable cap.

Grizz, my finish is plexiglas dissolved in acetone. I put 40 coats on the blanks in about 3 minutes, then use Micro Mesh wet to polish. There are several posts about plexiglas finishing here on the site.

Usually, I put on enough plexi to completely cover the blank. For this pen, I wanted some of the texture of the antler to be exposed.
