Modified Slimline Pen

One of my latest modified slimline pens. The main wood is Zebra. The accent band is a piece of Cocobolo sandwiched between plastic from an old hotel key.

To me, that is a beautiful pen!!! (I'm stealing the design). I love the modifications as well as the material combinations.

Does the top overlap the bottom?

I like to make the top section a little thicker (and shorter) than the bottom section. I just like how that looks, but there are so many options. I also try not to make the top section any thicker than 1/2 inch because it may interfere too much with the clip.
