I got an order for three pens of the same shape.
Two were to be matching antler for two brothers as Christmas gifts.
The third was for a son in law( afterthought order) THe SIL is a wood worker who likes to work with cherry,
I have some cherry burl given to me bt a local woodworker.
I don't post solid woods pens often but this one came out beautifully.
The picture doesn't fo the Deft spray finish justice.
Modified Perfect fit,African blackwood accent,Deft spray lacquer finish and TSW of course!

Great looking pens, esp. like the antler ones.
The more I see without the CB, the more I like them. I'll have to try a few before my next show.

<br />Good looking pens Eagle, sure different compared to your previous works of art

Not quite sure how to take that.
Good looking but they are different. As opposed to bad looking they are different.
Is it a left or a right handed compliment?[:D]

Eagle, I like all three. The shape give them kind of a delicate look, if that's really the word I want. I really like the way the barrels of the two antler pens match! And I'm NOT talking about the shape. The "figure", or "grain" of the antler makes the two appear as if they were almost bookmatched. I've not done that much antler yet, but I'm thinking that would not be that easy to control. Fine job! [^][:D]

Edited to change "gob" to "job". Not sure how I fat fingered that in. [:0]

Great pens Eagle. The way that you have been able to match the antler pens is great, but that cherry burl is wonderful. Glad to see that you can turn some solid pieces of material once in a while, makes me feel better about my own work.
