Getting ready to do a couple of Barons... got the kits but want to do a wood centerband in place of the plastic...
Would one of you who have done this please write up a little set of directions. I seem to have gone brain dead recently and can not see what needs to be done, just by looking at the directions... LOL...
I think Oldtimer Disease is setting in... LOL

Just thinking out loud. I would place an extra cutoff of the desired wood in a chuck and bore an appropriate sized I.D. hole with a drill bit or using calipers you could use a parting tool or a skew to set the I.D. and depth. You could easily use the pen kit part to check the fit. Then shape the ring as your see fit and part it off. Let us know what you figured out.
