Minimum Size Block for 20mm Shaving Brush

Christmas is coming, and I'm trying to branch out a little and thought I'd do some shaving/makeup brushes this year. I've looked, but didn't see any posts about the minimum size for a shaving brush. I'm looking at AZ Silhouette for the flyfishing bottle stoppers for my father in law. Website shows them @ 1 5/8 x 2 1/4 approx. Will these work? I've seen some as large as 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 and got concerned about size. Thanks in advance.

Hi, i like to use at least 1 5/8" x 3 1/4" but i have seen them smaller. finish size is usually 1 3/8" x 3" but that is just me.
