2. Oak (A ballaster from a surplus store = 5' = .99 cents); Walnut Cap; Ebony finial.

Got to ask a DUMB question Mark,
Are these for little birds or Ornaments????? I think the latter is the answer, but I have been known to be wrong on one occasion!! (IMHO, that is) LOL
I love the shapes of all of these.
In this case, the Oak seems to "balance" better. Maybe it's the bigger top and finer finial that does it for me.

I like the oak one better - the wood grain is more appealing to me. Bob's comments seem right, too.

Bob... Yea, just ornaments for me!

But in your neck of the world, maybe for a Webill! About 3" tall... I'd just have to push it in a bit harder.
