This is a minature vase made from deer antler and African Blackwood. It won first prize at the Bundaberg Regional Show for turned minatures. A minature is no bigger than 25mm in height and diameter. The inside does follow the outside wall profile as well. I put it beside a quarter dollar so you can see the size in proportion. See what you all think.

Cheers
Darren

Very nice Darren!!

I turned and sold miniatures for several years (over 3,000 of them), and am now trying to recover from that, and get back to penmanking.

If you haven't been there, there is a turning forum at cdhm.org (Custom Dolls, Houses & Miniatures) where you can share your miniature turning interest also.

Holy cow. I've heard of mini & micro chisels. Did know they had Lilliputian ones too. Thanks for showing.
