Ok going to order some from the Int. Violin Company. Should I get the foam block? or the micro polish cream? Thanks.

I just got the big sheets.
I use either a felt scrap or foam or nothing for a backer.
Couldn't tell yo about the polish I have good luck with the MM when I do acrylics(Don't do many)

You don't need the polish, just the sheets. If you use them on acrylics, wet them. Use dry on wood!

I use the polish on acrylics and it works great, its quite a bit finer than some of the other plastic polishes on the market. So it depends on what you are going to use it for. I also have used the MM wet for wood, that works nice also, and on some of the resinous woods like thuya burl I use MM with BLO and that works just fine also. With a little imagination there are a lot of uses for it, I've been using it long before I ever started turning pens. It works very good on flat work too like jewelery boxs, anywhere that you want an ultra smooth finish.
