Do you know of anyone in the pen turning field who can take a ribbon from a WWII medal and insert it into a ball point pen.
I have attached pictures of an example of an Air Medal with two oak leaf clusters (indicating 3 medals earned)
This particular pen is covered in what looks to be smooth clear resin.
I received this pen from my daughter. She bought it at a craft show in North Carolina and can't remember who made it.
I would like to order a pen like this, but with a different medal, for a 91 year old bomber pilot I know.
