Took some pieces cut out of a bowl (Fire Bowl version 2) and carved them into hearts. Then applied slices of a polymer clay cane I made. Carved out spots on back to inlay bails and made a pair of earrings and matching pendant. Decided to go with a pink silk ribbon instead of a chain for the pendant. Finished with lacquer.

I got the findings at Michaels, but they can be found at Hobby Lobby or A.C.Moore.

I got a set of 3 glue on bails sized for the pendant for $3 and a set of 6 glue on bails sized for earrings also for $3. These are silver plated. You might be able to find cheaper ones without any silver, I did not have the patience to do a major search.

The earring hooks come in a package of like 60 for $3.

If I had been willing to drill a hole into the earrings, I could have just used some light gauge (28 gauge beading) wire and made a suitable DIY bail.

I got the pink silk ribbon at Joannes Fabrics for $0.79/yard

Thanks, I enjoyed this first experiment with polymer clay and plan to do more of this sort of stuff.
