On this pen I tried to imitate a Japanese metal work, a worn rusty iron surface with a "shakudo" flying sparrow inlay. A touch of wabi sabi.
The metal like ground was achieved by sprinkling various metal powders. The inlay was directly built on the ground. Many layers saturated with charcoal powder, finally lacquered, details engraved and polished
Best regards,
Martin
