Manhattan Pen

I was asked to turn a "capped"pen for someone who had sent me the blanks and I still have one more to do, however, this one I think came out nicely.
It is turned from a plum tree from his yard. Yes I know I cheated about the "capped" part, but being limited on funds and time at the moment, this is what I did.
I am sorry it is not any better. The other one, if I ever get the Sumac to work right, will be a Chicago style "capped" pen.

Nice pen. I made one in a blue acrylic, don;t care for the big metal cap or the fact that the cap press fits on the back. Takes too much pressure to put the cap on the back, someone will end up messing the pen up. Gave it away to a good customer.
