I've been able to get a little time in the shop and have been making some pens for Christmas Gifts.

From top to bottom:

Curly Figured Massaranduba (Brazilian Redwood)
Bubinga
Cherry Burl
Spalted Pecan

Here is one in Bethlehem Olive Wood

The Spalted Pecan was the first pen I ever turned. I am learning as I go, and this place is a great resource for information and encouragement. After I did the Spalted Pecan pen without a pen mill I found out that a pen mill makes a better finished pen. I used the American Elegant Pen Kit and the Cigar pen Kit from Berea. Thw kits were purchased from Arizona Silhouette. The pen blanks were purchased from Kelvin who sells here from time to time.

Thanks for looking,
John
