Majestic Amboyna

Amboyna is always a great wood with beautiful figure, just love it. Here is a Majestic dressed in Amboyna-had to cut the plastic centre piece in half because it was an extremely tight fit. Hope you like it, Amos

Excellent work and pen Amos! i use a cotton bud and a dab of vaseline on all my pens parts, make's it very easy too join the parts together and too pull them apart if need be.

Always enjoy looking at your work Amos, just wish you didn't hide your signature logo under the clip. :biggrin: If you made mistakes like the rest of us, then you'd know that the area under the clip is especially reserved for hiding flaws..............or so I'm told:biggrin:

I never did understand the rationale for using the plastic insert that long for a Majestic or Majestic Jr. kit.

Wizard, I believe they use the plastic insert so that the pen will be a snug fit in the cap and that would take the pressure off the plastic threads in the the Centre Band. Amos
