This is something I had no interest in making, but I had a request for one. I made 3 for the customer to choose from this weekend, and brought one in to show a lady at work. Looks like 2 of the three will be gone by Saturday, and I may have to pick up some more.
This one is an old Black Ti designer style that I just used the glass section from. with no tubes or fittings, you just drill, turn, and attach. It also allows more freedom to shape as you please.

As always, all C&C welcome and appreciated.

How are the optics? I made one (I think it was from PSI) and while I love the appearance, it's not much good as a magnifier. If you focus the center, the edges are all wonky. I'd love to find a good lens (with good focus and low distortion across most of the lens) to fit it.

These also came from PSI, but the optics are good as long as you don't come too far off the paper. Holding it somewhere about 2" above the paper, no distortion until the last 1/8", if that. Lower it just a bit, and there's none at all.
