Oh it's just got a hole drilled with a 1" fortsner. In fact, it's not even all the way because I need an extension...

I was wondering the same thing. The hollowing looks hard. I'm in the same boat as you with hollowing. I need more tools.

I've been looking at the Sorby Swan Neck Hollowing Tool. Seems like an easy price point to jump in at.

I kept going back and forth on that. In the end I just filled them with CA, then put three coats of CA for the finish. you can't feel them, they're just visible. I think it would have worked either way... but I really like the cracks.

They work for me.
