Lost a great friend to the Widow Maker

I lost one of best friends of 35 years yesterday to a massive heart attack. 54 years old, hard worker, great shape, seemed to be in perfect health with no signs or warnings of any issues. Got out of his truck, stood up and said help, dropped dead in his tracks. The worst part is first grandchild is due next week, and he was so excited.

My reason for posting this is not for sympathy, But as a word of advice from someone with heart issues. Regardless of how you feel or how good of shape you think your in, get checked. My heart problem was found by pure luck when I had a shoulder x-ray. If you live in Georgia, Northside Hospital offers free scans throughout the year at all there locations. Virtual Imaging is another place that offers free scans.
