Well ive been putting it off and looking everywhere but haven't been able to find anything i could really afford. (retired, fixed income you know). Well today on Craigslist i found it and picked it up. Got this little beauty of a scroll saw for $30.00. Yep, $30.00. Now i can make those quarters like Seamus727 does (yeah right).
well at least now i can cut some blanks for segment long axis with curves. able saw and chop saw only do straight. It runs great. only has 2 speeds, but what the ........ Its a Dremel 1671. Only takes pinned blades but i can get an adapter to use straight blades as well.
Take a look and tell me what you think.

Pay no attention to the ton of garbage behind the saw. Tired when i put stuff up after the show yesterday.

Get a pognazi blade holder for it. You will never go back.

I have the same saw and use it for most of my work. I also have a variable speed ryobi that I use for thicker material.
