Little Drummer Pen?

This was my free style entry... My cousin has been begging me to make him a pen that looks like a drum stick. After many attempts and failures I finally decided why make a pen to look like a stick when I can use a real one. So because Vic Firth manufactured his drum sticks in Maine and Mass, I decided to to use his. Taking the components from a flat top kit I created this unique pen. Needless to say it was a *ahem* hit!:wink:

thanks for the comments, help yourself to the design concept Brian. I am going to change this design up a little and switch to a cambridge kit components as the flat line were a little too small for this large marching snare stick. Perhaps if I used a smaller stick it would look better. But either case, I am working on some improvements for the future:biggrin:
