Sorry, I haven't posted any of my pens for a while.
This one is made using wood from a redwood tree that was struck by lightning and completely destroyed. I crosscut it to try to capture the red and cream colors and also to try and get some of the charring from where the lightning struck. I was also able to get a knot dead center. I had to stabilize the pen twice to be sure it was able to be turned. I filled the checks with Blue Lapis.
Pen style is Gothica and the finish is CA. This one I am well pleased with!
